Privacy
This policy explains what data Tework processes, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights. The data controller is Tamebi SAS.
The “Request access” form
- What we receive: your first name, last name, email address, your message if you write one, and the language of the page. For a team, also: the company name, its size and the hosting you prefer.
- Why: to reply, send you your access and, for a team, set up a demo. Nothing else: no newsletter, no resale.
- How long: 12 months after our last exchange, then the request is deleted.
Your Tework account
- What we keep: your name, your @tework.ai address, your password (encrypted), and what you put in Tework: mail, calendar, meetings, files.
- Why: only to run the service you use. The Tework team does not open your content, unless you ask us to help you or the law requires it.
- How long: as long as your account exists. Once it is deleted, your data is erased within 30 days, then leaves the backups as they are replaced.
The Tework assistant
When you ask the assistant something, your request and the content needed to answer it (an email, a file, an event) are sent to the AI model chosen in the app. The model's name is always shown there. Depending on the model, it runs on Tamebi's machines or with Google, for Gemini models. The assistant prepares, and waits for your approval before sending or changing anything.
Technical logs
Like any online service, our servers record the IP address and time of connections, for security and to limit abuse (for example, at most five access requests per hour). These logs are kept for 6 months.
The tework.ai website
The site uses no advertising cookies and no analytics. It only remembers your light or dark theme choice, in your browser. The site's fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when it opens the page.
Service providers
- Hostinger: hosting of the site and the app.
- Resend: sending mail from @tework.ai, while we use it.
- Google: the site's fonts and, if you choose a Gemini model in the app, the assistant's answers.
Some of these providers are located outside Benin. They only receive what their task requires.
Your rights
Under Benin's Digital Code (law no. 2017-20), you can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing and ask for a copy. Write to contact@tework.ai: we reply within one month. You can also contact Benin's data protection authority (APDP). If you live in the European Union, the GDPR gives you the same rights with your country's authority.
Security
Exchanges with Tework are encrypted The machine that hosts Tework is backed up weekly by the hosting provider.
Beta terms
- Free, by invitation. Tework Individual is free during the beta. Access requires a personal invitation code; please don't share it.
- Duration. The beta has no fixed end date. Tamebi may end it with at least 30 days' notice by email.
- When the beta ends. Your data is kept, and you can retrieve it for at least 30 days. Nothing becomes paid without your consent.
- No warranty. This is a test version: outages, errors or, rarely, data loss can happen. Keep a copy of your important files. To the extent permitted by law, Tamebi is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the beta.
- Fair use. No unsolicited bulk email, no illegal content, no attempts to access other people's accounts or systems. In case of abuse, Tamebi may suspend an account.
- The assistant. It suggests; you decide. You remain responsible for what you send, even if it prepared it.
- Your feedback. It helps us improve Tework, and we may use it freely.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of Benin. The courts of Cotonou have jurisdiction.
